Prof. Ing. Emília S. Beblavá, PhD. is a Director of Public Policy Institute at Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences at Comenius University in Bratislava. In addition to her graduate education, she is Yale World Fellow (2003) and she has been Young Global Leader with World Economic Forum. Her post-gradual programs also involve Georgetown University, Harvard University and World Bank. Before her academic career she has been with Transparency International Slovakia as its president (since 1998 till 2009) and than serving in its board. She also served at international Board of Directors of Transparency International in Berlin (2000 – 2004). At the Institute of Public Policy she conducts research, manages graduate and PhD programs on public policy and teaches courses related to operation of public sector. She also focuses on behavioral approaches to public administration including behavioral experiments that has become part of projects managed at the Institute.
