Matej Navrátil

Matej Navrátil is a graduate of the Institute of European Studies and International Relations, Comenius University and he received his PhD in political science from the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University. He has been working at the Institute of European Studies since January 2023 where he teaches courses on current issues and theories of European integration, international relations, foreign policy of the Slovak Republic and the EU. His research interests include organisational and institutional theory, foreign and security policy, the EU and current issues in international relations. His work has been published in international academic journals (Politics and Governance, Hague Journal of Diplomacy, Journal of Contemporary European Studies) and in foreign publishing houses (Routledge, Oxford). Matej Navrátil has been a member of various international research teams and is currently the principal investigator of the APVV project entitled Slovakia in European Differentiated Governance Regime (APVV-21-0237).
