Master studies

Application process for master study programmes

General information
  • In first round the application form must be sent until 31st March 2023
  • In second round the application form must be sent until 15th August 2023 (second round will be published in May/June 2023 - based on the results of 1st round)
  • Applicant has to fill an electronic application form on web site https://e-prihlaska.uniba.sk.
  • guide for electronic application can be found here
  • It is NOT necessary to print and sign the application form and send it to our faculty by post office - keep the application and you will bring the signed application on the enrolment day in September 2023
  • it is NOT necessary to attach medical certificate
  • applicant can apply for more study programmes
  • whole communication and admission procedure takes place in electronic form
Obligatory annexes in electronic application

- confirmation of payment for admission process (application fee 40€) - should be attached in the electronic application and should be paid according to the payment order (that is generated after one saves and confirms the application)

- structured CV

- if possible, attach also recognition of documents from studies abroad (nostrification). More information can be found here https://uniba.sk/en/study/pregradualne-studium-bc-mgr-mudr-a-mddr/recognition-of-documents-on-study-abroad/)  (in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2022/2023, the decision on recognition should be brought to the enrollment in September)

 

a) if applicant earned the bachelor degree at university in Slovakia before acad. year 2022/2023
- copy and translation of diploma, verified by Slovak notary authority (in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2022/2023, the diploma should be brought to the enrolment in September)

b) if applicant earned the bachelor degree at university abroad before acad. year 2022/2023
- copy and translation of diploma, verified by Slovak notary authority and recognition of the diploma (nostrification)
- in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2022/2023, the diploma and recognition should be brought to the enrolment in September

Other conditions for applicants for study programmes provided in Slovak language

Knowledge of Slovak language (written and oral form):

o graduation from Slovak high school or university in Slovakia in study program provided in Slovak language OR
o language certificate or other certificate on knowledge of Slovak (i.e.SCIO)

Other conditions for applicants for study programmes provided in English language

Knowledge of English language:

o   SCIO Test on www.scio.cz - FSES accepts first five terms of SCIO tests. recommended level of English for European studies is B2 (percentil 60). If applicant want the utilize the reduce prize for this test, they should take the test on the fifth term. 
o   English Certificate

 

Cancelation conditions for first round:
  • if applicant cancels their application until 30 April 2023, they receive back 100% of the amount of fee
  • if applicant cancels his/her application until 31st May 2023, they receive back 80% of the amount of fee

Second round of admission process will be open only in study programs, where the capacity will not have been filled in the first round.
