Bachelor studies

General information

• In first round the application form must be sent until 31st March 2024
• In second round the application form must be sent until 15th August 2024 (second round will be published in May/June 2024 - based on the results of 1st round)
• Applicant has to fill an electronic application form on web site https://e-prihlaska.uniba.sk.

• It is NOT necessary to print and sign the application form and send it to our faculty by post office - keep the application and you will bring the signed application on the enrolment day in September 2024
• it is NOT necessary to add confirmation by doctor

Obligatory annexes in electronic application

- confirmation of payment for admission process (application fee - 40€) - should be attached in the electronic application and should be paid according to the payment order (that is generated after one saves and confirms the application)

a) if the applicant graduated from high-school outside Slovakia
- copy and translation of graduation certificate from high school, verified by Slovak notary authority (in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2023/2024, the graduation certificate should be brought to the enrolment in September)

- recognition of equality of abroad graduation certificate which is provided by Ministry of Education of Slovak Republic. More information can be found here https://www.minedu.sk/recognition-of-completed-studies-at-primary-and-secondary-schools-abroad/) - only if possible, usually after receiving your graduation confirmation (in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2022/2023, the decision on recognition should be brought to the enrolment in September)

- consent to process personal data for SCIO

- these applicants should apply for the term specifically published for applicants from foreign high school

b) if applicant graduated from high school in Slovakia
- copy and translation of graduation certificate from high school, verified by Slovak notary authority (in case the applicant graduated in acad. year 2023/2024, the graduation certificate should be brought to the enrolment in September)

-these applicants should apply for the term for applicants from Slovak high school

- consent to process personal data for SCIO

Other conditions for applicants from foreign high school s applying for slovak study program:

Knowledge of English language:

o   SCIO Test on www.scio.cz - FSES accepts first five terms of SCIO tests. recommended level of English is B1, for european studies B2 (B2 represents the percentil 60). If applicant want the utilize the reduce prize for this test, they should take the test on the fifth term.

Cancelation conditions for first round:

• if applicant cancels their application until 30 April 2024, they receive back 100% of the amount of fee,
• if applicant cancels his/her application until 31st May 2024, they receive back 80% of the amount of fee.

Second round of admission process will be open only in study programs, where the capacity will not have been filled in the first round.

The ranking in individual study programmes is based on the results of the SCIO English language tests. A specific percentile is assigned the same number of points. The ranking of applicants for the study programme Applied Economics, European Studies and Media Studies is based on the results in English, to which the percentile value in mathematics is added if the results in mathematics are proven.
