Announcement of the Election of the Dean of FSES CU for the 2027–2031 Term of Office
The Academic Senate of FSES UC, at its extraordinary meeting held on 29 September 2026, announced the election of Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava for the term of office from 14 May 2027 to 13 May 2031.
The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the “Academic Senate of FSEV UK”), pursuant to Section 22(2) and (4) of Act No. 300/2025 Coll. on Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments and Supplements to Certain Acts, as amended, Article 17 of the Statutes of Comenius University Bratislava, Article 13 of the Statutes of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava, as amended by Amendment No. 1/2026, and Internal Regulation No. 7/2023, Principles for the Election of the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the “Election Principles”), hereby announces the election of the Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences of Comenius University Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as the “Dean”) for the term of office from 14 May 2027 to 13 May 2031.
The deadline for submitting nominations for candidates for the position of Dean is from 29 September 2026 at 12:00 noon until 10 November 2026 at 12:00 noon.
The right to nominate a candidate for the position of Dean is vested in the institutes of the Faculty, members of the Academic Senate of the Faculty, the Dean, and members of the academic community of the Faculty. The nomination must be submitted in written form and must contain all the requirements set out in Article III of the Election Principles. The nomination must be accompanied by a statement of the candidate confirming their consent to the candidacy, their brief curriculum vitae and programme statement.
Written nominations shall be addressed to the Chair of the Election Committee of the Academic Senate of FSES UC and submitted either in person or through the Registry Office of Comenius University Bratislava, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Mlynské luhy 4, 821 05 Bratislava, in a sealed envelope marked “Election of the Dean of FSES UC”.

Public presentation and the election of the Dean will take place at a meeting of the Electoral Assembly on 24 November 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in Room A012, Mlynské luhy 4, 821 05 Bratislava.
The time allocated for speeches by candidates for the post of Dean of the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University (FSEV UK), the maximum duration of presentations and further details regarding the proceedings of the meeting of the faculty’s academic community will be determined by the Election Committee at its meeting on 10 November 2026 (Monday) at 1.00 pm, taking into account the number of candidates standing for the position of Dean of the FSEV UK.
