Clarissa do Nascimento Tabosa

Clarissa Tabosa acquired her MA and PhD. in European Studies and Policies at the Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Comenius University. During her PhD. studies, she spent a semester at the Center for Comparative Immigration Studies at the University of California, San Diego. She has worked as a consultant for the International Organization for Migration and the Implementation Agency of the Slovak Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family. Her primary academic interests include European Union migration policies with a focus on the Visegrad countries, integration policies and labor migration, and securitization of migration. She is also particularly interested in student-centred teaching and learning methodologies.
She has been working as a researcher at FSES for over 5 years and since 2022 she holds a position as an assistant professor where she teaches the courses International Relations I, II and III. She also teaches the course “Migration in Context” at the MA level.
