Mgr. Nikoleta Sláviková

Nikoleta Sláviková completed a bachelor's and master's degree in program geography and public administration at the Faculty of Science, Comenius University in Bratislava, where she researched migration at the city level. In her PhD. studies her research deals with decision-making and final decision on labor migration, where it uses the Roma family as a research unit. The work is supervised by Lucia Mýtná Kureková from the Institute Forecasting at Slovak Academy of Sciences. She completed a methodological course that is part of MethodsNET called Qualitative Interviewing, led by Lea Sgier. She is collaborating on the project VEGA 2/0079/21 Causes and consequences of inequalities on the labor market in the context of the corona pandemic in Slovakia. She got a doktogrant APP0322 for her own project: Who decides on migration? The family as a determinant of Roma labor migration.
