Ľubica Gazdová

Mgr. Ľubica Gazdová

Ľubica Gazdová graduated in environmental science at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava. She started her professional career at the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic as part of the agenda for Slovakia's accession to the EU, in the area of structural funds. Subsequently, she worked at the Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic in the field of financialmanagement of the pre-accession and structural funds and at the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic as Director and Director-General of the Management and Implementation Section of the Operational Programmes of the European Social Fund. At the time, as a financial management specialist for the pre-accession and structural funds, she was a short-term expert for the Ministry of Finance of Macedonia. Since 2009, she has been working at the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic as a auditor and subsequently as Director-General. Since 2011, he has specializes in performance auditing. In this area, she has completed several internships and trainings and presents the acquired experience as a mentor and coach not only at the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic, but within the team of the International Development Organization (IDI) in the worldwide network of supreme audit institutions. As a performance auditor – a specialist, she was part of a twining project at the Supreme Audit Office of Azerbaijan, where she conducted trainings and carried out methodological support.  In her dissertation under the leadership of Associate Professor Staroňová, she focuses on performance audit as a tool of modern public administration.
